    Arrow refurbished vs new

    Hello,

My question is: For a new pc build is it better to buy refurbished parts or new items?

Depends on your budget, the part, the price and availability.

Hello well the budget is $800.00 for the pc. What I am considering to get refurbished is the motherboard, ps, and the graphic card.

Are the refurbished parts a lot cheaper and do they still have warranty?

the motherboard does not have warranty. the power supply unit has about 3 years left on it's warranty and the graphic card also does not have warranty. The most expensive is the motherboard for 100

Motherboards and graphics cards are a lot more critical than a good power supply. So those two components should be a lot cheaper compared to new.

That sounds suspect. Is it USED or is it REFURBISHED.

If it's USED, the warranty is not transferrable.

If it's REFURBISHED, it has a refurbished product warranty. Typically only one or two years.
