500W primary (AC) are roughly 450W at the secondary side (DC output ~90% efficiency)
No need for a 650W PSU.

The mask: 3 titles I play pull +500 out of the wall. I was fixated no that little screen sitting on top of the wallsocket.
When I saw those numbers I thought that it was pretty high for that little psu.
    Forgot the 90% gold rule.

Installing a new windows right now. Hope all the instability is out of my fresh system.

I didn't saw that you already measured the power consumption. The numbers I came up with are estimations, calculated in my head.

Tried an other PSU anyway, guess what... Realbench stresstest failed.

After discussing this with some friends they asked me if the PC is stable running AIDA's stresstest.
So I tried AIDA. But before it could start it mentioned that there was an issue with TdrDelay. I let AIDA adjust this and it and let AIDA run for more that an hour. No issues at all.
Retried Realbench and could not believe what I saw. Passed each test I threw at it.

What's the fuss with this TdrDelay?
When I checked regedit, after the first Realbench test done after AIDA, it stood on 8 seconds.
For what I understand and found on the internet it might stood at 2 seconds and Realbench made the driver hang for more than 2 seconds which made it crash.
So is this a solution or just a masquerade?

Yes normally the graphics card driver restarts if your system hangs for 2 seconds. If you change the value to 8 seconds, the system can hang for 8 seconds before restarting the graphics card driver. So it's more a masquerade then a fix. Because why does your system hang for more than 2 seconds?
