Default How much watts will my build take on 3.3V and 5V rails?

    My build

    Intel core i5 - 4440 (3.10GHz)
    Nvidia Geforce GT 720
    500 GB HDD (SATA)
    8 GB Ram
    3 USB port 3.0
    5 USB port 2.0
    20 inch LED monitor
Gaming mouse and keyboard (not sure if it matters)
    DVD-RW/DVD+RW combo drive
    120MM fan

It's kinda hard to determine how much watt it actually uses on the 3.3V and 5V rails, calculators tell me over 110+ watt but that doesn't feel right, considering i wanna switch to the corsair cx450M which only has a maximum combined wattage of 110 on the 3.3v and 5v rails.

If you can read Dutch, take a look here: https://gathering.tweakers.net/forum...ages/1714273/0
Modern PC's hardly take anything from the 3,3V and 5V, don't let the calculators fool you. If you can read Dutch, read that topic. Explanation about how to calculate the power consumption is also in there.

Well like I said before, a good 200W is more then enough. The CX450M is overkill a GTX 1080 or even GTX 1080 Ti is possible with the CX450M. This PC will take 40W from the 3,3V and 5V or even less, and less then 100W from the 12V, total max power consumption will be less then 150W.
