    Default Will a Corsair cx450M do for my build?

    My build

    Intel core i5 - 4440 (3.10GHz)
    Nvidia Geforce GT 720
    500 GB HDD (SATA)
    8 GB Ram
    3 USB port 3.0
    5 USB port 2.0
    20 inch LED monitor
    Gaming mouse and keyboard (not sure if it matters)
    DVD-RW/DVD+RW combo drive
    120MM fan

    Yes, it's way more than enough.

    You could easily add in a high end GPU (GTX 1080 Ti) without having to worry about power concerns.

    Cuz i been told the cx450M was junk and also a fact that older Graphic cards use up more watts, so i just wanted to make sure.

    Also i used the PSU calculator but the Amps (3.3v and 5V rail) got slightly over the maximum combined wattage of the cx450M, which confused me a little

    Don't use the calculator, it doesn't work. A good 200W is already more then enough for your PC.

    I pretty much own a Corsair cx450M and my current PSU is failing, good to know i can switch without any concern (:
