Default Rm1000x strange smell from air exhaust

I am currently using a rm1000x commected to a avr 600m on a z97 xpower running 290+290x in load but after a day of having added a 290x(before it had a 7870 and 290) it started to smell something similar to plastic not 100%"like it but i had never smelled this before, what could be causing it?

Are you sure that smell is coming from the PSU? According to which orientation did you mount it? How far is it from the two GPUs? How are those ones cooled? Do you use these equipments for crypto mining?

"Yes it is" to what? The smell origin or the mining or both?

Yeah, there's a chance: @OP, can you take some shots of those connectors (PSU side)?

I have checked and the smell comes from the inner part of the PSU

Did you actually check the PSU-side modular connectors?

If your system is running perfectly normal without any erratic behavior, then I wouldn't worry about it. If I had to guess, It's probably the solder flux cleaner, which is turpentine based and can produce an odor that is similar to plastic when heated up.
