Power Supply recommendation for my new build

Specs:
MSI B350 Tomahawk
2x4GB LPX Vengeance
XFX rs RX480 8gb
AMD Ryzen 5 1600
1TB crucial mx300 SSD
XFX TS430

I've had problems with this build such as freezing and crashing when the pc goes to sleep, the MSI forums suggest to update bios, and said my psu is not enough and should switch to an weaker GPU to test. But what I had done was switched to an old HDD and it no longer had the freezing issue but was very slow. So I will reinstall Windows on my SSD. Do I really need to upgrade my powersupply?

Well obvious it's not that the PSU can deliver enough. Simply because a PC that goes into sleep doesn't need that much power.

Well it can be a power supply problem, but then the problem would be a defective power supply. But a problem with the memory, motherboard or some other component or software problem is more likely.

Well it is new build with AMD, thanks anyway.

Just in case it, which PSU would you recommend, this psu I have now is really quiet.

well, I never build on the first version of anything for just this reason.

While I am sure that AMD and their MB suppliers will get things sorted out, there has been the usual growing pains of getting everything to sync on a new platform.

Memory and pcie bus (ssd card) have been problematic for AMD for some years.

Just saying, as others have already...that the PSU may or may not be a problem, but you will not know until other issues have been ironed out first.
