I was talking to my Corsair rep today, and we were chatting about the new Corsair Flash Voyager XT USB thumb drives.
The regular Flash Voyagers are fast as hell to begin with, he said the new XT's are up to 4x faster.

I asked him WTH MLC vs SLC as, he said SLC = Single Layer Cell memory, and MLC = Multiple layer cell flash memory.

I can't find anything (after a relatively brief search) on the differences between MLC/SLC..

Anyone know about it?
