Default Huge Spanish store throwing bullshit about CX-M series

A Spanish store is throwing bullshit about Corsair CX550M and I was wondering if there is a response for this.

PCComponentes is the biggest Hardware store of Spain as far as I remember. It's also one of the worst in PSU recommendations (classical 'Tacens Radix VII AG 700W better than quality 550W')

    I put you in case:

    User buys https://www.pccomponentes.com/configurador/B9BcCeEb1

PCComponentes surprises him with a message:
La fuente de alimentación seleccionada no es lo suficientemente estable, por lo que nos está dando algunos problemas en la fase de testeo
Le recomendamos el siguiente modelo de fuente de alimentación
    Thermaltake Litepower 650W | Pccomponentes

The selected PSU is not stable enough, so it's giving us some problems in the test phase.
We recommend you the following model of Power Supply:
Thermaltake Litepower 650W (ultra basic solytech unit, as far as I remember it is internally the minimum you can get with active PFC )
The user asked for a VS650 (in any case a bad choice imo) and they said "the model you are telling us isn't stable enough for our performance tests". So...

Is anything going on with Corsair units in this store? I can't assume they are telling the truth, in the first case it's a decent unit with a lot wattage and in the second it's an unit with less quality but even more and more wattage...

They did the same with a 450B unit and recommended the Litepower, which happened with another user...

I also inform you @JonnyGURU because this has no sense... does it?

    Weird.

No. Doesn't make sense. They must have gotten a huge back end rebate from Thermaltake to push product. Thermaltake has been on the warpath lately in Europe and Asia.

Is not with Corsair, they are talking complete bullshit there, PCcomponentes seems to be trying too desperately to sell those Thermaltakes

A Couple of months ago a user commented the same, but it was an Enemerax MaxPro 600W that PCC wanted to change for a 750W Urano.

And in the last 2 weeks I have seen another 2 users choosing the Maxpro an PCC saying that it wasn´t enough and recommending the Thermalfake

So clearly there is either something weird going on and they want to get rid of the Thermaltake stock or they just have no idea of what they are saying, don´t know which option is worse, I just wonder how manny more users have fallen to the same trick and haven´t posted anywhere.

They are definetely recommending Litepower 650W to everyone. More details on this? This is disgusting and we have to stop it

Well, but how? They can reccomend whatever they want, I see no way to stop this. The other alternatives would be boycotting them or reccomending other PSUs on the forums.

When will people learn that those trying to sell you something are not credible source for advice on that very thing?

The same time when people realize they are getting their political news from non-credible sources.

    God.

That store is a whole other level of stupidity. They even OWN a couple brands that sell crappy units.

The explanation to that is one of two:

    - Rebates;

    - Tremendous stock and they need to push them.

Those employees must have some guidelines to sell those units.

I cant understand this mentality. If they are selling crap, they will get higher RMA rates from the systems they sell, thus higher costs. Why just dont sell proper units...and lower RMA rates, improve costumer satisfation and reduce costumer care costs!

They even pick the products for free when they need rma...imagine the savings!

Well, the products will last the 2y warranty and.. done. The PSUs will explode after that, the people will see it normal, they buy a new one from pccom and that's it!

They also recommend ultra overrated (650W for simple rigs...)
