    Arrow Andyson H6 800W Review

We haven't looked at an Andyson unit in a while, have we? Not too long ago, they sent me their first Titanium unit and it turned out to be rather awesome. They'd been hit and miss for me in the past, so I was glad to see that model was a hit. Now, we're looking at one of their new 80 Plus Gold designs in the H6 800W. Can Andyson keep their momentum going? Let's find out.

Not too bad, at all: but if it were a "golden sample", guess how a "regular sample" can be.

Hm, Capacitance on +12V seems very low by todays standards. only 2x2200µF + 2 polymers...

That doesn't make me confident in this unit...

It tells you that this design has probably low ripple from itself and doesn't need 10 caps to get a decent output ripple.

Yes and there may be some negative effects if you have not enough capacitance...

For a Core 2 Duo with a couple of 8800 ULTRA this PSU will be fine though...

    And Ripple&Noise is highly overrated...
That might be important if you are a hardcore fluid gas overclocker, but the normal everyday use, is it really that important?!
Aren't there other things that are more important than Ripple & Noise?

If you are NOT a hardcore fluid gas overclocker, no.
