None of those options, I am (I just expressed a personal doubt about hypothetical, repeatedly failed units over a 12 years timeframe. Didn't you like my wording? It may be due to a language barrier, sorry).

Not the wording Luca, just the doubt you have for the warranty process. We hope this is good news to our customers and had not hope to create more doubt in our intentions.

We try our best to produce industry leading power supplies and we try our best to stand behind our products and we believe we have a very fair and painless Warranty Policy / Procedure. We have been around since 1975, making only power supplies and so we hope to be around for another 40+ years. At least long enough to continue to honor our warranty.

12 years is a long time and much can happen but the PRIME has a solid platform and very high grade components are used so it should handing quite a bit of beating. I think it would be riskier to give a 5 year warrant on a weak platform with lower grade components.

Seasonic RMA here in Germany is very comfortable. At least here RMA works perfectly well. Are there any problems in other countries I don't know of?

Well, because we are not so big like Apple or Samsung, we still try our best. We have a service center in Germany and people from anywhere in EU can send the units to us for RMA. Cross border shipping can be expensive so we are working on new alternatives for our RMA customers to maybe user warehousing facility in UK, France, Netherlands and Italy. This is under review.

I tend to agree, Seasonic PSUs somehow are becoming rare here in Norway again. And they are pricey as well. Even stuff like the G-360 is nearly the equivalent of $100. I used to buy Seasonic all the time back in 2008-2010 when they were super cheap especially on sale. Not sure if they lost their distribution system here somehow. The only Seasonic based PSU I have in service now is the Silver Power rebranded one in my HTPC. That was purchased at the end of 2011.

Sorry about that, this is something we are working on and hoping before summer we can have this resolved. Thank you.

Maybe the discussion about 12 Years Warranty just started when Prime came out and they decided to release prime with 10 Warranty and make a statement that it increases somewhere in the lifetime.

Sure, we all have doubts about things but what are reasonable? We post our Warranty and RMA process fairly clearly on our homepage and we increase the PRIME warranty from 10 to 12 years in a clear statement, released to the press. As well, we are not a company that just showed up on the market yesterday, we have been around since 1975 making power supplies and only power supplies, so I don't see how when you add these factors together, there can still be doubts about our warranty.

But I am glad this issue is now cleared up for you. If you have any questions, just contact us via our support e-mail or PM here on Guru Forum. Thank you and have a nice day as well.

Love the Seasonic Prime ( a jump in warranty shows you are standing behind it) but i have enough PSU's atm, i will consider it with a future build. (my first PSU was a Seasonic AT Style PSU) I'm still happy with my Antec High Current Gamer 750 watt made by Seasonic OEM, still works after 3 years of 24/7 use.
