Default Looking for big Nichicon bulk caps replacements

I am going to replace 2 (two) 18000µF/63V/85°C Nichicon ecaps, 50mm diameter, 82mm height: what is there available for such a job from reputable brands? Snap-in preferred, please.

And with same reference, what's a good source (availability, pricing) for large caps in EU? Mouser has such pricin'...

BTW, these ones lasted for 44 years, and I'd like something equale or even better if that won't cost an arm and a leg.

Is ~40mm the max diameter available nowadays for this kind of cans?

How many pins does that cap have?
Maybe see if you can have a look at Cornell Dubilier 383LX223M063B052V

Higher capacitance, but shouldn't really matter

You won't get them in that physical sizes.

They became smaller over time, so you have to take some smaller things.

Oh and do you need a radial one or an axial one?

It might work. So I have to look for 22000uF units in order to have 50mm can size?

Why? Doesn't any power supply regulate differently depending of the bulk caps capacity?

    Radial, five leads radial.

I don't know what your caps are being used for, sorry. The additional capacitance may stress out other components more, yes (like a bridge rectifier).

You can always just increase the voltage rating of the cap, but keep the same capacitance if the capacitance value must be 18000uf. Higher voltage rating won't hurt.

Look at Panasonic (100v) ECE-P2AP183HA, ECE-P1KP183HA, ECE-P2AA183HA, ECE-P1KA183HA, they seem to be obsolete parts but you may be able to find them.

    Alternatively, Cornell Dubilier 383LX183M100B092V, 382LX183M100B082V or 382LX183M100B082VS

Then again, I'm not really sure where you would be able to buy them, here I'd just buy it off digikey and call it a day.
I guess Italy is part of EU isn't it? Can't you buy it in a different country?

You could buy it off digikey and they'll ship it, expensive though.

I'd be suprised if you can get a 18000uf cap that's above 5v in axial style.

I did that (buy at Digi-Key): it was a godsdamn bloodbath, all in all those caps will cost me $33.72 each...

OTOH no Mouser/Farnell/RS/Distrelec/Whatever had nothing like those CBEs, just some Panny/Nichicons in China, but I don't buy there, too many fakes.

Well, it's not your fault, I need them, they have them: thanks a lot ridgid.
