Guess it was not working much. It is running incredibly hot and with that chloroprene glue, it's disaster.

It's cheaper/easier to just let a website sit than to pay someone to update it.

and how were they when they did PSU?

From what I've heard so far it doesn't seem that good, does it??

VERY hit and miss... mostly miss. But mainly because they never upgraded to new technologies, even in their newest PSUs.

Wut? Topower was considered early adopter of technologies. Sometimes too early, or more precisely, they adopted lots of features, but somewhat missed the quality and tuning…like here with the PCIe cabling, that's just so stupid…and the fan controller is also a disaster, as already stated.

That's not the technology I'm talking about. I'm talking about using resonant LLC, DC to DC, synchronous rectification.....

If they closed the fab few years ago, than there was little time to adopt anything of that. It's only now slowly getting to mainstream, AFAIK Topower never really aimed for high-end that much…

This thing however still had interesting features, 9 years ago. Yeah, FSP already had synchronnous rectification by about that time, in fanless Zens, but the voltage regulation sucked so hard anyway…
