    Default LC-Power GP4 series

So, i was searching for cheap Gold units and found this line.

What do you think about this units?

    They seem to be decent:

I was impressed to find Rubycons on it.

    65€ for the 460W model / 69€-560W is OK.

10Y ago LC-Power was on of the most sold PSU brands across Europe.

These are the same power supplies as the Corsair CSM serie, the PCB even has the Corsair logo on it.

Thats interesting. Would you recommend them at those prices?

I was never a big fan of CSM to be honest.

But again, Whisper M 450W only costs 12€ more so...

LC Power is ok, compared to L&C power....

Anyway the GP3 edition is made by Great Wall and it was 80+ Silver in 230V EU mode.

I wonder what they have done....It does have only 2 teapo caps which are ok, though why only two, and there only?

All the other caps are NipponChemiCon/UnitedChemiCon electrolytics and poly's,Rubycon,Nichicon polymers i believe.

Interesting i couldn't see the corsair logo on this one from the pics.
This means it only hits gold at 230V?

It can't hit Gold at 560W with 115V mains, no. Only at 550W can it maintain Gold. This is a CS550M that can easily do 560W, but not maintain the Gold efficiency at lower mains voltages without beefing up the primary side.

They're quite nice for that price. I reviewed it as well: https://www.computerbase.de/2016-11/...c6560gp4-test/

I don't trust LC-Power. They've done bait and switch before.

I just noticed... all they did was cover the Corsair logo in silicone.

Where'd you get that picture from (the one on the left)? It's not from either link in the OP that I can see.
