    Arrow Vivo 24k 650W Review

It's not too often something comes into the lab I'm completely surprised by. Today is an exception. Folks, today's review unit comes from a brand new company on the scene, Vivo. We're looking at a 650 watt 80 Plus Gold unit that comes out of a factory we've only seen one other unit come from since I started reviewing power supplies. I can't wait for this one.

This isn't your second SAMA power supply, you had more. For example the SilentiumPC.

Gotta love the soldermask on the top side.

Yep, this is definitely a Sama. Because Sama mostly retails overseas, they're not used to dealing with the North American market, where we don't need special foam that keeps bugs out of the circuitry.
My day job is a computer tech, and I see computers on a regular basis that would beg to differ

    Ok, third then

I've been doing this too long - review units don't sell anymore and I can't remember half the stuff I've reviewed.

Odd indeed! That transverse Great Wall of China looks like a slight obstruction for air trying to exit the PSU.

Sama can be as odd as they want to, as long as they keep putting out decent stuff

I've been doing this for ten years, now... really thinking hard about retirement before too much more time goes by. I'm 43 - I was supposed to be a published novelist by now. Writing reviews sucks the will to write novels right out of me

Still at the point though where I don't think I can afford to rock the boat financially, so for the time being I ain't going anywhere unless Tazz shows up here with a torch and a pitchfork asking for the FastAuto back.
