Will the load testers and other required testing equipment (besides the noise testing ones) also be present in the same room? How will you isolate their noise?
The three lamps don't make any noticeable buzzing noise, right?![]()
all the rest equipment is in an another building and I just remote control the sound meter and the rest of the stuff. For the sound meter I use the original software, for the rest I use a custom made one. The lamps are LED so no noise there![]()

To be frank I don't know. Just went to a trusted local stored and told them to give me some good quality ones. In the chamber it is so quiet that my current sound analyzer hits its limits easily, even when the outside environment is rather noisy. Will invest on a special mic to check on my chamber's true capabilities.
Finally, I don't have to keep the lights on during the measurements, because I remotely control everything.
I'm only in my 20's and I have been trying to protect my ears so I should be pretty good at noticing it. I find CRT screens insanely annoying if there is no other sound around
