Default Cooler Master Unveils Four New MasterWatt PSU Lines

Cooler Master released four new power supply product lines, the MaterWatt Lite, MasterWatt, MasterWatt Pro, and MasterWatt Maker. All four lines feature high pressure, low noise fans by Cooler Master, some of these models feature load-based fan-activation. The lineup begins with the MasterWatt Lite, which covers all the bare essentials of the series, and features fixed cabling. The MasterWatt (proper) series comes in various mid-range capacities, and features slightly higher efficiency, and partially modular cabling.

Moving up the ladder you have the MasterWatt Pro series, which comes in various mid-thru-high Wattage models, higher efficiency than MasterWatt, and fully modular cabling, with flat cables. Leading the pack is the MasterWatt Maker series. This lineup comes in various 4-figure Wattage models, features fully modular cabling, and features software interface, with which you can monitor its various power domains, and even have limited control over its cooling.

Depends, do you want to be a lite master or a master maker?

MasterWatt Lite looks to be B v2 series.
MasterWatt looks to be GM series.
MasterWatt Pro looks to be V series.
MasterWatt Maker is then the real high-end stuf available in a 'digital' and non digital version.
Digital version from Enhance and non digital looks to be a new platform from CWT.

I don't really get the advantage of such a renaming. This works for low end VGA, but not for PSU.

To give you an explanation, one of your and our mutual Indian distris complained to me today that your ElitePower is much cheaper than our stuff. I said, that they buy say a 400W PSU LABEL, not a 400W PSU and that we don't sell labels but PSUs, even on the lowest price level and if he wants cheap he shall continue buying labels. He laughed and said he knows that and said thank you and that we (Antec) shall not change that. (True anecdote)

Cuz, LiteMaker = LightMaker = Boom

So no CWT then, but a manufacturer from Japan.

I will like it, if the performance makes sense. You have the Light model, the Normal model, the Good model and the Awesome model. You only have to remember that Maker = awesome in this case. So again, if performance and pricing makes sense it'll be good.

And personally I kinda like the Maker name.
