    No, it doesn't, but it affects how Oklahoma Wolf calculates regulation average.

    I took those numbers from hot testing

    multi rail:
    Code:
    3.3V , 5V   , 12V1 , 12V2 , 12V3 , 12V4
    0.45%, 0.20%, 0.83%, 0.67%, 0.92%, 0.83%
    average=0.65%

    single rail:
    Code:
    3.3V , 5V   , 12V average (as single rail)
    0.45%, 0.20%, 0.81%
    average=0.49%

    I just feel this platform have potential to provide better performance and lower cost than RMx/HX with Corsair's fine tune

    Don't read the review??!!! The reviews are so well-written. Great entertainment. Well worth reading.

    OTOH I think "OW average" better reflects the actual load regulation: first of all, as a 12V ATX unit, the "main" voltage is the 12V one, and that PSU's 12V reg is not close to "your average", the 12V reg almost double it; then, do you want the Whisper M get the "mythic" score? *Each* and *every* rail has to perform near that level, not just two out of six (and the the two least "important" ones, indeed).

    Tell me the truth, dude: sometimes you go to read some your old review, right? I guess "they" could feel so alone if you don't do that...

    I only read my own reviews to confirm the info they contain so I can link to them. Occasionally I go back and read reviews here because I want the info. But mainly the reviews that OW writes are pure entertainment. As I said, well worth reading for their own sake.

    My teasing attempt was no good, ok: I beg your pardon, Ed!

    BTW, (sadly) the majority of people don't read reviews whoever the reviewer is (just check/quote the final score/award): that's a blanket statement often turned out as true.

    I agree, 12V voltage is the most important one. But if you want to compare regulation average between different PSUs, you have to calculate in the same way for every power supply reviewed.

    I don't want to make this power supply look any better or worse, I just want that every PSU gets the same treatment.

    And what about this one, for example: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php...tory3&reid=488
    It's a 3-rail PSU, but it was load tested as a single rail one. The regulation average is therefore also calculated like on a single rail supply.

    You just can't say this is fair comparison.

    OTOH he clearly wrote why he did that: "...Since this is much too small of a unit to get the hot box very hot, I'll sum the 12V rails to one ..." (said that, personally I think that your last argument/example is not without merit, but I'm not OW or Tazz).

    Did anyone else notice the packaging says "Silence Perfromance"?

    That typo makes the grammar even worse!
