    Default Corsair RM650i vs Seasonic x650 KM3

Which one would you go for at the same price?
I'm getting told by many people that seasonic one is much better and its a no brainer, is this true?

Both units are on par with one another. The main differences are Corsair's software readings and fan control settings, as well as it's default fan profile being quieter than Seasonic's.

If you can read German, there's a review of the RM650i here:

Obviously I'm going to be told I'm biased if I say the RM650i is better, so I'm going to wait for others to chime in.

No, it's not true (though I've not seen yet any test from the reviewers I trust most).

The Corsair is the better PSU overall, it delivers better performance, is more silent and the quality is on par.

BTW, due to EVGA's consistent market dumping, nowadays the EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650 is a much better value (usually 20% less than either the Corsair RM650i or the Seasonic X-650KM3).

Well, i don't know for the RMi 650, but the 750, had pretty good transient response ( http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...ly,4223-7.html )
It's the 1st time after many years (*2 basically ), that i wouldn't hesitate to buy a Corsair psu, and most important, i wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others as well
(something i couldn't do with my current psu -Tt GRAND Platinum850-, because although it has impressive performance, i can't be sure of its longevity due to some few lower-quality caps it has inside. )

Set aside they should be two different platforms, but as far as I know the response of the 750W cannot state anything certain for any different wattage sibling: for instance, if you look at Spectre's reviews, the Seasonic X650 KM3 has different (improved, oddily) 12V transient response with reference to the larger Seasonic X850 KM3.

So both are really good and its not easy to say which one is better, in terms of overall build quality and electrical performance, not taking into account extras like corsair link, right? What about super flower leadex gold 650? this is the same as EVGA SuperNOVA G2 but with 5 year warranty, considering its 10€ cheaper than corsair and seasonic, is the Leadex a better value for money?
