    Arrow EVGA B3 750W Review

EVGA has a new line of units out to give all of you budget minded folks a helping hand - the B3 line. These units are fully modular and 80 Plus Bronze, raising hopes within yours truly that we'll get some pretty sweet performance to back up the otherwise budget oriented efficiency level. Let's see what the 750 watt model is all about.

Thanks for the review PSU master wolf, Mighty tempting PSU as a replacement , or for a new build. A budget leadex platform that is good, and at a good price.

No not by far the best 80PLUS Bronze PSU till now. A good PSU compared to the last mostly mediocre 750W PSU's launched last couple of years. But some more years ago there has been a lot higher end stuff.

And don't forget that the EVGA B3 750W/850W are different from the B3 450W/550W/650W.

Yeah, units based on Seasonic AT/AM come to mind, like M12II 750W, Antec HCG 750W etc.

Great performance, but I think the fact that 550W and 650W are rated at 40 and have worse capacitors, while this unit is 50 and uses NCC caps may be confusing for customers.

How low can ripple end up getting on these PSUs? While that and vreg is good it's too bad the fan is sleeve.

Imo it should be higher, less then 10mV isn't useful for anyone. But those cable caps is an annoyance for many people. Without the cable caps the ripple would still be extremely low.

Is it a standard sleeve bearing fan?

The only one i am interested in is the 450W model.

This higher wattage bronze units makes no sense.
