Default Help me choose a power supply

Hi, everyone. Good day. Im buying a gtx 1060 for my computer and i dont feel my old power supply would be sufficient for it. Ive collected some models that i could afford from the retail shops nearby,(i dont buy through amazon, or newegg cause the shipping is high or they dont ship to my country). Can someone help me choose the best one out of all of them?

MSI GTX 1060 OC 6GB (Planning to)
    WD Blue 1TB HDD

I dont think the shops that i went to have their own websites, nor they update it. I just got the printed copy of the price lists and chose the one under my budget.

    ***Edit: http://www.jayacom.com.my/
    http://www.thundermatch.com.my/

I was only able to find the websites for these two shops, couldnt find for the other shops.

On those shops, the least expensive options are the Seasonic S12II-520 (309) and Cooler Master GM550 (360), both on jayacom (the GM550 is 369 on Thundermatch).

Other viable options on Jayacom are the Cooler Master VS550 (395), or the Be Quiet Straight Power E10CM 600W (469) if you praise quietness over value.

Among those quoted units, probably the best performance/price ratio belongs to the Cooler Master VS550.

A GTX 1060 is a bit overkill for you CPU.

Is that relevant for the PSU choice?

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I will go get the Cooler Master VS550.

EDIT: Btw, cooler master VS550 is the v semi modular series right?

Yeah, i knew this. The i3 will be a bottleneck. But why should i get a better CPU if i can get enough fps or lag free gaming in games that i play. I would look for a better CPU if I can notice something is wrong, or not enough. Correct me if im wrong. Thank you very much for your effort.

If your CPU and a GTX 1050Ti (example) would give you 64 fps, and a GTX 1060 would still give you 64 fps (because of the CPU bottleneck) then there is no reason to spend extra money for no performance gain.

It should be so: the semi modular PSU is also referred as the VSM, the product code is RS-550-AMAA-G1. It has been replaced by the full modular RS-550-AFBA-G1 a while ago, but quality/performances-wise the two PSUs are about equivalent.
