Well apart from price, I also considered semi-passive operation of RM550x. My PC (i3 6100+RX470) draws 250W Max. So I'm hoping for a completely passive operation. (Without coil whine ofc. )

That's how coil whine works, I'm afraid.

Electricity causes parts to vibrate at different frequencies. Sometimes these frequencies are at an audible level.

Newer PSUs coil whine more than older ones because one of the "tricks" to making a PSU more efficient is the PWM controller's ability to change the switching frequency. Unfortunately, this makes it harder to troubleshoot if a PSU is going to make noise. In the past, a PSU either made noise or it didn't! Now-a-days, a PSU's noise can change, or go away, depending on the load.

Very happy with mine. Dead quiet, no coil whine or anything.
