    Umm.... I wouldn't say cheap outside of the lack of a chassis for each board. The motherboards are Supermicro, and in 1999, Pentium II processors (I believe those are retail 400MHz, which would be 100MHz FSB, which means the motherboards are BX chipset) were not cheap. They were bleeding edge.

    Well at least they were able to make it work long enought o make it better.
