    Not if you have a backup on a separate, preferably off-line drive.

    A RAID itself does not count as backup, even if it has data redundancy within the setup.

    Perhaps I was not clear; the backup is on the RAID, quite separate from the main drive. This is done to protect the backup (I do not run off the RAID).

    I use the program Paragon Backup & Recovery.
    Reliable and proven over the years, and most importantly free

    I certainly donít recommend saving, itís all your data, if itís very important, itís probably worth thinking about the paid option
