Anybody here could do that or recommend some relative or friend or whoever? I need to translate about 15 pages of manual (some have only little chinese texts though).

You're willing to pay, right?![]()
Reasonable price for sure…
Seems that it will be slightly less pages in the end, some translators can handle the introduction talk quite OK. But for the technical part I'd still prefer human translation.
While i was a student, I used to do transcribing and subtitles and translations as a freelancer on rentacoder.com
The owner renamed the brand to vworker.com which was later sold and it's now incorporated into http://freelancer.com
It may be worth setting up an account (see if you can actually submit jobs from your country) and see how much people are willing to pay for transcriptions from Chinese to English and then submit a request accordingly. You'll probably want to pay per paragraph or per word if the amount of text varies from page to page, or when requesting offers attach a couple of representative pages so that interested translators could get an idea about how much time it would take to translate everything.
Such a job is probably at least 2-3$ per page if it's a lot of text.
Another option would be Amazon's mechanical turk : https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome
Again, if you can submit jobs (may be limited only to US), you could just scan the pages, cut them in paragraphs (let's say up to 3-5 lines of text) and submit each paragraph (section of a picture) as individual translation jobs, each paying something like 10-20 US cents, maybe more.
You can configure it so that jobs are only proposed to people that say they know Chinese or are native Chinese. You can automate it so that everything is done as soon as each job has at least one person complete it, or for example when each "job" was completed by at least 3 separate persons (so you could compare translations and pick the best one/most correct one)

Couple bucks per page would be laughably cheap compared to what offers I got.
Anyway, I got somebody through my russian business partner, seems OK. I'll wait for my colleague till he has time on some trip to pull the other, easier texts trough OCR translator (as it seems doing good job) so I can start completing it, and than get the rest of the human translation. Gonna be about 6-7 pages in the end.
Oh. Well, look at how politically-correct are the hitlery fans now when they lost…setting things on fire…
Anyway, it's his contact he has PCBs made in. And when I finally raealised that I went ahead and managed to get them copy some APC boards for me![]()
