Default My seasonic PSU came today! I have questions

Finally my seasonic 520 watt came in after waiting for almost week. Now if I ever want to upgrade my GPU, what graphics card will me most suitable for it? Am I suppose to plug the 4 pin fan cable to my mobo? And I have 4 HDD and DVD drive, how can I use all 5 of the 6 data cables?
edit: I should mention it is the 520 s12II

    Fan cable? Data cables?

    I'm confused here.

I don't believe the PSU doesn't has a fan cable. And what data cables are you talking about?

Hmm, from what you wrote, -(first of all, the PSU doesn't determine what GPU you'll buy but the oppossite: The GPU will determine what PSU is best suitable for your system)-, i think it's pretty obvious that you are not very experienced pc user, right? .
P.S. As for the 4HDDs & the DVD drive, this means that you need 5 sata sockets.
If you have the Seasonic 520 fanless ( https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/...S-520FL/2.html ),i believe it contains 5 SATA sockets, which is exactly the number you need.
EDIT: and about the 4-pin PWM cable, it is indeed for powering/monitoring the tower's fans and they are connected at your mobo (*read mobo's manual to verify what pins are used for the fans)

    You upgrade him a little
    He got s12ii
In the new version you got 2 6/8 pcie pins (verify),
    the old got 1 6pin 1 8 pin.
without extreme oc you can use any gpu that meets atx power standard (250W).

Maybe he should buy everything new then, with a modern PSU that fits the PC, in stead of buying a ~7 years old one that isn't really meant for a modern PC.

Or is the PC also around 7 years old? What are the other components?

If your intentions are to play modern games at the highest settings, i would advise you to add another 8GB RAM, and as for the GPU, anything above (*or equal with) a GTX980 will be a massive upgrade for your system.
(P.S. What is the budget that you are willing to spend? )
