No. To maintain the same pricing, it has to stay White.

If none of they is decent, what are the options at that price range? Or you mean all the PCs on the world should have a more than 60€ PSU? :S

There is always the guy who won't spend more than, say, 45€, so I'm just trying to see what is the best option in this case.

And there is the guy who don't want to buy a 70€ PSU for a 200€ PC.

The EVGA W1 units are fine budget units. At least in the US, they retail very cheap and if you look at other options in the price range it's usually total junk. Not saying their good, but you'll see the EVGA 430W in the $20-$30 price territory occasionally, and nothing else really is better for the cheap prices they go; at least not that I know of. If anybody has an alternative, please alert me. But most power supplies I see similarly priced have usually never been tested, and I don't have all that inside knowledge like you guys on what platforms they're based on.

The EVGA 430W is $15 after rebate, or $30 before. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...D=3938566&SID= and that's what I call very good price/performance for this unit http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php...Story&reid=431

PSU's like this were always to low-end to my tast. And for les then 45 euros there are better options like the XFX TS Bronze 430W, Corsair CX430, Antec VP350P, be quiet! System Power 7 300W/350W.

As others said, there are better options; but on the W1 series if it's the 400w model, you want to go for the Cougar. If it's the 430w unit, you want to go for the EVGA.

Again; you should really be taking a look at what's available on the market at the time and only recommend a unit like these if they're the only units available in the price range.

A strong consideration against these units is they generally have poor performance when the AC voltage dips during a brownout. These units tend to have poor transient results, which can cause gaming scenarios to shut the power supply off as a GPU turning on can spike the 12v line too low causing protections to kick in and the unit to shut down.
