Has twister bearing fan with some strange blade shape. States MTBF 150k hours, which unit has that?

If it's group regulated, it better be cheap (and with power efficiency going up, low end 600W PSUs become questionable anyway). In PL these probably will be irrelevant either way, as SilentiumPC has indy regulated Vero L1/M1 600W for rather low prices.
Yeah I got that unit here I think as well, but Enermax was already pushing to make the review…and it's true ppl asked about it some three quarters ago, tooSO only than the SPC will be in a row. I know the MaxPro is no wonder but that's the purpose of the review, to discover whether it is OK for the money, or garbage…
Unlike Sirtec or FSP, this GPM platform at least performed within spec back in the VS I reviewed years ago.
Seems that 600 W is already too much for this platform: http://www.hardwareinsights.com/wp/e...600agt-review/
I expected mediocre results, but within spec. Not this. Voltage regulation, ripple suppression and even hold-up time out of spec. It runs hot (great for those crapacitors indeed), loud and that ultrathin molex cabling…

Weird, The_Mask's case of CWT GPM 600W (in the form of a Cooler Master B600 v2) wasn't nearly as bad as this.
Don't take this the wrong way, but are you sure your test setup is OK?
Because if it is, then this is quite a train wreck of a PSU...
Is this the first and only sample?
Careful what you wish for... You just might get it.
Yeah got one.
Anyway, measured the same way as always. Each unit is different though. Maybe some of them don't like the light bulbs (it's true the fillaments actually make a small inductor, multiple that by ten pcs and it can achieve some effect). I should get differential probe(s) in couple months tops so than I will be finally measuring in the closest possible accordance with ATX. The same ol' original Tektronix Intel used to make the spec. Cause I have a feeling basically none of the redactions have differential probes, no matter how expensive other equipment they got. Or do they?
Anyway, that's for ripple. There is still that bad crossload regulation and also short hold-up time. I think you can not say anything is wrong with that. Multimeter works OK (at least for now) and I think O-scope should also get the basic 50Hz things right…its just shortly over 3 years old now. I even upgraded the FW lately, the stock version from factory (the first one actually, I got it as one of the first units here) was already close to unusable.
Is the evga white(80 plus) a better unit than this maxpro?

Yeah that ripple with low and normal load can't be right, especially when the ripple with 100% load is OK.
