Default Seasonic M12II EVO 620w or Cooler Master V550w

    Hello everyone,
As the title says. They are very similar in price where i live(bangladesh). The cooler master one is the V550w full modular - CM webpage. TechpowerUp has reviewed the unit - Review here. The seasonic one is the M12II EVO 620w - Seasonic Link. Could not find an elaborated review for this unit.

Someone said V550 is the better one. Should i go with the V550? Or go with M12ii evo 620?

The CM is indeed a lot better.

    What are your PC specifications?

Will install it in a old system(pentium dual core). As old power supply is biting the dust. Will not even boot with my old 7750. Served me for 7 years though, i don't blame it

Buying new components in a week. i5 6500, gigabyte b150m-d3h, 8gb g.skill ddr4 2400 ram. R9 390 after couple of months or rx 480 if i can afford it. So wanted to get a good power supply.

EDIT: So, will CM one will be more reliable in long run?

In the long run we will be all dead.

IMO the 620 EVO is just not technologically adequate for contemporary standards.

    This.

    Will go with CM then.
By the way, it has unicon poly caps. Read somewhere that polymar caps are least susceptible to failure. So, no problem here?

    Yeah, no problem there.

As said already CM > Seasonic for this 2.
