That's why we all do either 136 or 139 mm stuff

Ultra was their modular patent claim, which has been destroyed by the litigants

    Thanks.

Just for the sake of talking, which patent office was so stupid to grant them such a patent? What about a car maker patenting the use of 16" inches wheels or 205mm tyres?

What are the conditions? There were some Corsair PSUs with 140mm fans, including the 2014 AX1500i, as well as low end and high end Thermaltake models.

The USPTO patents "anything under the sun". Quote from the USPTO.

Just 2 PSU companies (A & E) picked up the fight in multiple instances to get the ruling that it was prior art, while the rest paid duties or were not part of the litigation.

and Superflower did 140mm fans really first.

Anyone could patent a second spare tire for sedan cars. Likely there are patents up to 15 spare tires today. You just need a new combination or application of another ones patent and can patent that by yourself. And then the money to defend that in an East Texas district court

When back in the end of 2006 at E we did the first 6+2p PEGs we thought about it, but decided that the whole PCI Sig would fight tooth and nail against us. So we did not patent it. We COULD have, but would have gone broke before winning

Remember Topowers 20+4p patent. Nobody paid royalties but cut off the lid. That still goes today.

Pair that with "no rights to consumers" (cfr. JG ), "lots of guns for any man", and now you know how come you may see the USA (and Texas, particularly) as a very nasty place...

Ain't nothin better than getting your free Freedom Bearing M16 with your bottle of Jack Daniel's and your own personal patent on how to eat a cheeseburger.

Is there even a way to purchase a replacement for the fan that's currently in it?

So the ha13525h12f-z is for sale, alright. In Taiwan. And they ship to China mainland, and Hong Kong .

Sending it to my home address will cost me 80 Yuan (about 10 euro) but having it delivered at a postal office is cheaper ;-).

That is to say, if I were to live in China.

But even as a Chinese you need to supply your ID and complete a phone registration to be able to buy on the (auction) sites. There is no possibility to register as a foreigner. So one is an auction site on which you can't register, the other is an online vendor that does not seem to indicate that shipping abroad will be possible. But, there are shopping services in Taiwain.

Air Parcel to Europe = 280 NTD + 200 NTD service fee for provider + cost to buy item in Taiwan = 90 Yuan = 417 NTD + shipment in Taiwan = 150 Yuan = 700 NTD = total of about 1600 NTD for one item is € 47 lol.

    However the other one 80 Yuan shipment = 370 NTD = 1270 NTD = € 37, that's better.

The item itself costs about 12 euro so for multiple items it wouldn't so bad but for one it is a quite bit pricey.

I guess every one of these fans is faulty?
