Hi Pavel, I forgot about this. Was/Am pretty busy recent weeks.

    Sent email to Seasonic.

For the OPP testing, you gotta consider max de-rating.

At normal temps a decent PSU can easily go higher and for pushing 150W of heat, sure, it is 80 PLUS BRONZE only.

For your UVP measurements, I will check that when I have time again. (Likely after Computex)

I guess you mix up some different issues/communications, don't you?

Obviously , It should be a 135mm fan. I doubt you get any retail fan with low-enough starting voltage. I try to sdk SS, but finding one with an actually voltage, not just some paper spec ...

I doubt 2.8VDC is correct, should be higher, this fan has no On/Off function and does not need to go this low (fan controls cost).

And again, finding a retail fan will be tricky

外形尺寸 (Size of outline ) 135*135*25 MM
B-a: 額定電壓 (RATED VOLTAGE) 12 VDC
    B-b: 操縱電壓(Operating Voltage) 2.8~13.5 VDC
    B.c: 啟動電壓(Starting Voltage) 2.8 VDC ON/OFF
    B.d: 額定電流(Max.Rated Current) 0.41±0.02 Max.Amp at 12VDC
    標籤電流(Max.Label Current) 0.5 Max.Amp at 12VDC
    額定功率(Max.Input Power) 6 Max.Watt at 12VDC
    額定轉速(Rated Speed) 2300 RPM ±10%
    風量(Air Flow) 108.69 Max.CFM + 97.82 Min.CFM
    靜壓值(Static pressure) 3.51 Max.mmH20 + 2.84 Min.mmH20
    噪音值(Noise Value) 37.8 Max.dBA

Thanks Joerg, I really appreciated your help.

I think there's the Fractal HF-14 which is slower but with a 2.4V starting voltage, though it's a 140mm unit.

I wish Listan eventually decide to start selling their long awaited Silent Wings 3 lineup.

    I measured ~2.6V on my Seasonic G-550.

There is no market for retail 135 fans.
No company would let you swap fans under warranty.

BTW, the voltage should be higher even, because it is an LED fan, so 2.8A+xA for real + 0.5A for the LED. Round about

Yes, for super-low RPM units you go below 3V, for 500 rpm start plus, you use cheaper Hall ICs with higher start voltage. Doing super-low voltages is a pain in the ass to implement for PSU engineers. And Hall-ICs cost.

    Yup...

Just as an FYI... The only reason you see 135mm fans at all is because Super Flower patented the use of 140mm fans inside power supplies. So the work around for that is to use a slightly smaller 135mm fan.

Or 139mm fans if you're Silverstone.
