Default Raidmax Monster RX-700AT Power Supply Review@ Tom's

    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...pply,4530.html

    This is hilarious!.
After the Sama Forza Titanium800, it's the second time that Aris & Jeremy publish their reviews for the same model at exactly the same time!

    EDIT: It's the 1st time i see such a high Inrush Current - almost 100Amps at 230V & >100Amps at 115V -
If i remember correctly, @Stefan had said in the past, that >100Amps of inrush current is a violation of the ATX specs?

Aris' unit has way better 5V regulation.

While Aris still has a wider range load on the +5V, Wolf's load starts lower than Aris's, so it's not an apples to apples comparison.

When it comes to Raidmax, it's usually a turds-to-turds comparison
Careful what you wish for... You just might get it.

    Yeah, @230VAC.
@115VAC the spec says 50Amps max

but that's not really the problem. In this case you have to take a shit on the specy and take a look at the real world. And what the real world would allow.

And in the real world a B16 breaker is the standard and thus somewhere between 3 and 5 times the nominal value...
So even in 230VAC, it's better if the inrush current would be under 50A, the maximum is 80A - 20A less than the ATX spec allows!

So in the end, this PSU is pretty much useless and I'd strongly reccomend not buying it because of the high inrush current that will trip your breaker...
