Default ShenZhen HuiLi Electronics CO., LTD anyone?

From the authorization IDs assigned by the korean MSIP (previously KCC) to the FSP Hydro X series ( 450W, 550W and 650W too), I read that these PSUs are "manufactured by ShenZhen HuiLi Electronics CO., LTD".

Is that exact? In case, who is ShenZhen HuiLi Electronics CO., LTD, and which relationship has this firm with FSP? May that ShenZhen HuiLi Electronics just be the chinese factory of the taiwanese group?

I'm guessing that the korean applications/authorizations aren't quite precise: googling I found that the Chairman and a Director of FSP Technology Inc. are also in the ShenZhen HuiLi Electronics Co., Ltd. board, and that in 1993 FSP established a FSP Shenzhen Huili Electronics Plant in China.

Yes, Shenzhen HuiLi is simply said FSP's factory. Just like Super Flower's one is called Jing Hua.

Props for using FCCID.io; nice website but they need a better search. MSIPs themselves usually don't say anything useful either, except sometimes.

Confirmed. Also same with HEC, their Shenzhen factory has also it's own name.

What about ShenZhen Utility Power? FSP factory as well? I remeber seeing that as the OEM of the TT TR2 S units.

ShenZhen Utility Power makes batteries, you mean ShenZhen UTPower Technology.

Geez, these chinese are shocking (they seem not able to differentiate themselves): just for instance the Shenzhen HuiLi Electronics Co., Ltd. is the FSP factory, while Shenzhen HuiLy Electronics Co., Ltd. is a whole different thing.

Well.. To be fair.. when it's written in Chinese, it looks completely different.

You guys know why the factories have their own names, right?

IIRC, has something to do with the Chinese government having a stake in the business. The off-shore company can't actually own the factory and move goods out of it. They have to "contract" to their own factory and then purchase from that factory to sell to their customers.

Another one is Andyson's "Yu Jia" factory.

TBF, I thought the latter was just a shortening of the name So yes, I mean UTPower, they're not related with FSP, right?

It looks like it's their (the company) name and not the name of the factory.
