Default Antec VPF or Enermax maxpro

Ok so these are usually the most recommeded budget PSU in forums here.
Antec has dc-dc converters in the minor rails and better soldering quality, and overall better capacitors, but it has no MOV, enermax has MOV, but it is group regulated and has worse caps. Also, enermax is cheaper with more wattage.
Is the lack of MOV enough of a concern?
Also, what is the platform of enermax maxpro?

Easily Antec VPF. The advantages far outweigh the lack of a MOV.

Enermax MaxPro is just a plain CWT GPM with a Japanese primary cap.

Antec is much better buy, the Enermax MaxPro is a CWT GPM, which is a based on a low-end double forward design with group regulation.

Cooler Master GM series is comparable with the Antec VPF series if you look at the design, double forward with DC-DC, but the PSU itself is based on CWT GPK (which is a GPM with universal input) design only with a upgraded secondary to DC-DC.

But there is also Fractal Design Integra M, based on a LCC resonant converter design with dual mag-amp build by ATNG.

Aerocool Xpredator Bronze series, which looks a lot like the Cooler Master GM series, it only isn't build by CWT but by HEC. But still waiting on reviews for those PSU's.

And of course the new Corsair CXM series, the CX450M, CX550M and CX650M build by CWT, based on a downgraded Corsair RM450/RM550/RM650. Also no reviews yet.

Aren't the Vengeance series mostly the same?

I'd be more concerned about the lack of inrush thermistor than MOV in the VPF.
