Default Any ideas of stuff to do with these?

I've just been given 6 3200uF 400V caps (Nippon Chemi-Con 36DY15063). I've already done the usual "charge them up and put something across the terminals" stuff, but does anybody have any ideas of more interesting projects?

Open one up, put the electrolyte in a hookah and smoke it?

Let us know when you cough out your lungs, of course.

Be careful playing around with those, they are able to store ~ 350 J of energy... That thing can kickstart a long haul rig.
Careful what you wish for... You just might get it.

When you charged it, did you put anything flammable across the terminals?

Are you sure it's fully charged? As a kid I always used my tongue to measure 9V batteries. Did you used your tongue?

You know, I do think that could actually kill our poor cheapie, if it turns out it was fully charged...

Give them to Coolmax so maybe one of their PSU's can actually pass the JG test?
