    Default Good or bad?

I bought a PSU a while ago and wanted to get myself a R9 380 Video Card.

    PSU: https://www.alternate.co.uk/Thermalt...4?event=search

I did some research and found mixed opinions on this PSU and thatĀ“s why I got to this forum.

My question is : Is this a ok PSU? or should I invest in a better one?

    Suggestions are highly appreciated

    On the worse side.
Especially since they changed the manufacturer a couple of times without changing the name.
The first one was from HEC.
    The second one from Sirfa.
And now it's CWT with no OCP on the +12V rail and a shitty 8pin protection IC...

You should go for a better PSU, like a be quiet System Power 7/450W or Cooler Master G550M (NOT the 450W due to sleeve bearing fan).

    What about this one? https://www.alternate.co.uk/XFX/PRO8...0?event=search
IĀ“m aiming on something more future proof and this even got good ratings on jonnyguru.

System Power 7 450W and up are FSP Raider, I would pass. Fractal Design Intergra M 550 and Antec VPF 450 or 550W are more interesting.

But the question is, which PSU do you actually have and what are the other specs?

There are three different versions, as Stefan already stated.

Well that's the problem. There's no information about the real manufacturer. No UL no TƜV number nothing...

If you can take some pictures through the fan gril or exhaust grill, then we can probably tell you which one you have.
