    Arrow Firepower Fatal1ty 750W Review

It's been quite a few months now since OCZ left the power supply business, and business in general. In that time, their power supply business was snatched from the jaws of bankruptcy by a small company by the name of FirePower. Since then, FirePower has worked hard to bring the old OCZ units, PC Power and Cooling included, back to the marketplace. I've got one of their units in front of me now in the form of the Fatal1ty 750 watt model. This unit is fully modular and 80 Plus Gold. Does FirePower have what it takes to compete against some ultra strong competition OCZ didn't have to worry about so much back in the day? We're going to find out.

I would buy a Oklahoma Wolf approved PSU.

Very nice rants btw, especially about which OEM they should go for. Didn't Corsair have a good ATNG unit?

^Corsair has Great Wall (CS series, and also some Platinum prototypes), but not ATNG.

It's kewl that Firepower didn't just keep reselling old units, but continued to make new ones... Though they did take their time with that.
Apparently they are supposed to have a 650W and 550W unit based on HPM too, but I don't see them I'm stores.

It would be cool to see more ATNG - the ATM G 1.7 platform from many liked FD Teslas is retired, but the ATM G 2.0 from the likes of Rosewill Valens is a good successor.

I like this change, the graphs look 'scarier' at first glance but the X scale on the left quickly dispells this, and top to bottom waveforms are more interesting.

Well this is defiantly not the way how I would launch a 'new brand'. This is just OCZ all over again, selling mediocre stuff for a high-end price. That's the way to go bankrupt again, not to get your million buck investment back.

It's too bad those Impervio based units OCZ EliteXstream units ended up having so many problems.

It's too bad BFG went under just as they were bringing some awesome units to market.

The market is brutal, Firepower will likely find that out.

I bet Su'scon would last through the 5 year warranty at least, but I agree I'd replace it when it ends. It's interesting that Oklahomawolf thinks they should go to ATNG. Haven't really seen much ATNG stuff lately. I might get flack for it, but HEC might not be bad either. When they want to, HEC is capable of putting out pretty decent stuff, as they prove with EVGA.

HEC can do decent 80 Plus Bronze, for Europe and US you also should have good gold models...
