I'd have said "a bit too restrictive".

Gotta love how Korean law requires that you put the OEM on the label.

That "high quality" sticker makes it really easy for people to buy a high-end power supply, they don't even have to read a review now.

    Crap this forum on phone…

Yeah well the component quality is not bad, about build quality I'll see. But that says nothing about the platform quality/performance.

OEM is pretty clear once you open it, or read it at RHTX…

Here is the full review http://www.hardwareinsights.com/wp/z...00-gvm-review/

It failed so hard on the ripple while it only took two ceramic capacitors to make it OK…at least on nominal load lol, have not rather tried overloading again.

Wow, good caps! Totally unexpected from my side! The voltages didn't drop too much either during normal loading, though the voltage regulation wasn't perfect.

    Shame on the ripple.

    But it has japanese caps!!!111

    Besides that:
one of those shitty 8pin protection ICs (wich do use the VCC pins for +12V)...
And some don't even offer OCP for the minor rails...

At least this unit didn't fail overload as hard as the Enermax Triathlor ECO 650W and Lepa MaxBron 700W unit did on Hardwareluxx...

So this is a poin that deserves more investigation: The overload performance of modern PSUs!
    Some don't have working protections!

For example the EVGA GS-650W on the minor rails. When overloading them they just burn -.-

So we have to give this unit credit for surving, at least...
