be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 550/650/750W is based on FSP Hydro G, this EVGA is a different or custom platform.

What is Hydro G? Both the P10 and P11 are the same platform if I am looking correctly, those are loosely based on Aurum PT/Xilenser, no? Just with half the bridge.

Edit: I see, Dark Power Pro 10 and 11 are quite close, and still not the same as this Hydro G.

Oh interesting, haven't noticed this one last time I checked…

EDIT: Seems to me the P10 has been a custom modification of the Xilenser/Aurum PT. Than BQ! upgraded that to Platinum P11 and maybe leave FSP using that platform as the new gold Hydro G? Because the platforms are too similar, however, why would FSP not use the previous version already years ago if it was theirs? But the Hydros were certified before the P11…

Sorry for the necro, but seems this platform isn't exactly something new / from scratch. It has its roots on the one used on NZXT HALE90 V2. Primary is almost identical to the used on those PSUs (with the exception of bigger caps on EVGA). Secondary has some differences, mainly the use of DC-DC on EVGA instead of the classic indy regulation.

    Just see and compare:

I think I mentioned that one time on this forum (or somewhere else), but yes they are many similarities to the FSP AAG. EVGA GQ also doesn't have these two small coils on the primary (probably used for the AC-DC minor rails), which FSP AAG does have.
