Default Help With DDR3 RAM Combination pls

    Hi.

I just got this MB https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P7P55D_PRO/ from a friend, for a second pc i want to built and i have 3 different ddr3 mem's.

    1. 2x4gb g.skill 1066ghz (F3-8500CL7D-8GBRL)
    2. 2x4gb corsair 1333ghz (cmx4gx3m1a1333c9)
    3. 1x8gb corsair 1600ghz (cmx16gx3m2a1600c11)

The MB goes up to 16gb in 4 mem slots.

Will be able to combine some of the above in order to reach 16gb and will i have better performance than a non combined 8gb? If i cant combine any of these, will it be better to use 2x4gb 1333 or 1x8gb 1600?

    Thank you.

    Best deal on 1600GHz DDR3 8GB (2x 4GB) kit right now is CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9R.

    $39.99 @ Newegg.

It's red, but black costs $2 more.

Thx for the answer Johnny but the 3 different rams i mentioned in the post, i already own them. I m not searching to buy new ones. I want to know if i ll be able to combine some of them in order to reach 16gb and will my pc have better performance with 16gb combined mem or with a non combined 8gb? Well, no, as it's rather unusual: unless you stable overclock the RAM, you're asking what should be faster, either a dual channel 1066MHz 16Gb setup or a single channel 1333MHz 16Gb setup, but with reference to either a dual channel 1333MHz 8Gb setup, or a single channel 1600MHz setup.
I bet on a(ny) dual channel setup, at any rate.

yeah, it will probably just be down to trial and error testing compatibility
