    Arrow EVGA G2 550W Review

We're back in the saddle with EVGA again today, this time looking at the G2 550W unit. This has been an amazing series of units thus far at the higher power levels, and I'm looking forward to finding out how consistent the performance is down at the lower powered end of the scale. Let's check it out now, shall we?

Cool, thanks for the review Wolf!

Are the cable caps the same stuff than in higher wattage Supernovae G2 (220uF Crapxons)?

Good psu. Here in Germany availbility is not perfect. Two story had it in stock for 95 Euros which is good value, now they are both out of stock. New price is 109,90 which is average but not great. EVGA psu sales are still low here so distribution is sometimes a problem. In the UK the situation is far better.

Actually, 3 PCI-E connectors make some sense, I've seen several non-reference high-end cards (sth like 780Ti, 980Ti or some Titan) with 3 PEG connectors on board.

    Excellent review as always!

Also glad to see the consistent mention of in-cable caps in these new reviews too!

Also you can use the 2 connectors on one cable for the not so demanding cards but two real cables for oc records.

    Look at this diode.
    It's a shiny, reflective diode.

Wow a lot has changed in the PSU world. Haven't been on the site in about 6 years and I see PSU's getting all 10's!
