When you remove the modular cabling and warranty, it is cheap CWT. Guess ;-)

It is really interesting how some V550S are cheaper than this thing…must be killer for the sales

That's what you told me at HWI forum. ( http://hardwareinsights.com/forum/vi...hp?f=35&t=1022 )
Can you compare the CWT's reliability for long-term high-load running, compared to Enhance's V550S ?
As you mentioned the V550S is cheaper, and -from what i understood from [H]'s review of the G550M ( http://www.hardocp.com/article/2015/.../#.VcOXdfmWzcs )-, a better unit as well.
I don't think there is any reason for a potential buyer to prefer the G550M over the V550S.

The minor problem is they only come with 80 PLUS Bronze (@115 V) certification (supposedly from 2013 – seems that original CWT certificate is being re-used again)
Yeah, the GM series launched in 2013, so it's not that weird that they were certified in 2013 too.
The unit was tested in August, and the first units were available in stores by October 2013. They've got their own, genuine certificate.

Where? In Czech Rep? In Italy not at all: the GM goes for 63 euros, the VS for 85 (though the V650S is sometimes priced better than the V550S).

Yeah you can get some only a few over 2000 CZK while G550M starts over 2100.

Interesting, I thought they are newer than that

(Oddily) The GM should be quieter.

Retailers do all sorts of weird crap with pricing. I've actually seen G650M cheaper than G550M several times.

And in PL Vx50 are most definitely not cheaper than Gx50M, in fact they tend to be more expensive than their typical Gold certified competition.

How is that possible? They have the same fan (with V Semi Modular/newest revision), V550S has much better fan curve and its fan is not obstructed by some foil making turbulences.

I have not measured the noise but clearly everything goes for V550S.
