If I remember right (obviously Jonny could correct me) but yes, it was a 6800 Ultra.
I remember when I built my first rig right before that, and I lusted after that card when it came out. It was also like $800 or something in 2004ish.

The first BFG 6800 Ultra watercooled review is here http://www.hardocp.com/article/2004/...c_water_block/ and no "blanket" was used as part of the review. As that is the first BFG water cooled videocard reviewed, and predates this website let alone anything after that, the recollection about what happened is not accurate.

Nope. It's accurate. That's not the review. I tried to find it but couldn't, but I recall the situation vividly. Perhaps it wasn't the first watercooled BFG, but the first "Thermo-Intelligence" model. Maybe Kyle decided to not publish the blanket results after talking to BFG, but it did happen. You can ask Kyle.

And 2004 doesn't predate this website. It predates this version (the Tony template) of the website. Even Archive.org proves that.

The poll needs clarification i think!!
-What is the amount that you have in mind, regarding the donation?
-I don't think that anyone would object if you made your measurements at 115V as well. But the critical question is if you can do it without the cost of sacrificing something else during the process. ( less reviews for the same time for example, or less devotion to the 230V measurements, etc )

Anything you can and are willing to Just sonding if people would even be willing to first…there is lot of stuff I would like to get for the reviews. Professional power meter, differential probes, are just two I can think of.

It's gonna take some time to measure 115 V too for sure…it depends on the demand. If there are thousands of readers on 115 V, I guess they want to see full 115V review. If not so many people show interest, I'll do two, maybe three quick measurements and call it a day. Or won't do that at all.
