    Default Headset with detachable cord

Looking for some headset for a fren' which could survive for more than usual year and a half. The cable always breakes by the connector, or by the headset body. Everybody uses these shitty cables with just painted wires without insulation, that's PoS.

Is there some headset with detachable sound cable, that means with jack integrated to the body? I only found some AKG but that's kinda expensive. About 40 bucks would be just that, no fancy function or extra quality needed, just ordinary headset where you can replace the cable once in a while (for something with proper wires with normal insulation) when it breakes.

How about a pair of sennheiser hd598s /audio Technica at50s with a modmic? Or do you need the 3 stripe 3.5mm connector instead of the two stripe?

That costs twice as much as the AKG, that's hardly that…

I don't think he actually even needs microphone…just headphones may be fine.

My version of the Koss R/80 has a detachable cable. However, I don't think the newer version has that anymore, and they're not made of the sturdiest plastic. You'd have to hunt for an old model.

So wireless is out of the question because he's not using this on a PC?

And this isn't for a mobile device with Bluetooth?

So... my kid used to sleep with her earbuds in. That would tear up the cords and I'd end up buying her a new set every month.

    Then I discovered these: https://zipbuds.com/products/juiced-2-0

This is beautiful. For the past 2 weeks every day I keep telling my roomate how I wish I could invent tangle-free ear buds.

Is, but wireless have tons of problems of their own…

Those Skullcandy Grind look nice. Where's the volume control, on them, or on the cable??
