    Unhappy About USB Converter

    I have a asus motherboard.It's has USB 3.0 2 ports.I brought gaming casing.When i making my computer I got a problem.My casing has front USB 3.0 port but motherboard don't have USB 3.0 short to connect my 3.0 cable.

    I want to know there is a any converter for connect my usb 3.0 cable to my motherboard.

    Yeah. What motherboard and what case? Most cases have cables that plug into the motherboard. Are you saying you're missing the cable?

    My guess is that the case uses a header connector for the USB3 ports, while the mobo has no USB3 header. An adapter would be required, like this one:
    Xeon X3440 @3,1GHz + GTX660 + 2x4GB @1650MHz CL9 + Corsair RM650

    I don't understand what you mean by "converter".

    Do understand you cannot convert USB 2.0 to USB 3.0. If your motherboard (or case) do not support 3.0, you have to add it. You cannot convert it. You can connect a 2.0 device to a 3.0 port (or the other way around) but it will toggle down to 2.0 speeds.

    You can add USB 3.0 by installing a USB 3.0 card.
