No, it's the be quiet Straight Power 10. By far, especially under load.

    By the way:
I'm using an FX8350 System with two (old, non Boost/GHz) Tahiti Graphics Cards (7970, 1000MHz Core, 1375MHz Memory, 1,175V Core, Gigabyte Windforce OC BIOS on it. But Both are either a 280X or a 7970GHz with 1100MHz Core and 1500MHz Memory. Due to noise I use the standard 7970 BIOS).

And that system doesn't consume more than 550W in Heaven Benchmark.
In Games with VSync On it's mutch less than that...

So with a single 290 a good 400W PSU should be fine. But I'd rather go for something in the 500-550WW range...

Even if I think that unlikely you may speak german, you can easily play with fan speed curves here, clicking on the PSU names and then on any individual curve to read the relevant data (in order to compare figures to your Tri-X fan speed).

Set aside I was answering to the OP, so I was referring to the PSUs proposed by Trinket in the Original Post, but can you point me out where in this thread the BQ E10 has ever been proposed?

I do speak German although it's worse than my English.
The sound I hear could well be around 47dB. That's quite a lot.. it's like people speaking in a quiet environment.

Regarding your PSU recommendations, as long as it's listed in the websites I used (www.pccomponentes.com, www.xtremmedia.com or www.amazon.es/uk ) it's fine for me.

Would you both agree that if I had to choose between them the Be Quiet would be the best alternative?

If so. I will take that into considerations if my fan fix turns out to be impractical or if I can find someone willing to buy a second hand PSU.

I can't say it's the best option because, for instance, quality wise it isn't better than an Antec True Power Classic (or similar Seasonic derivatives), and price-wise it should be (you didn't specified WHICH BQ E10 you're looking at) the most expensive unit: but it will be probably noticeably quieter than any other PSU you linked.

About the fan swap, it's certainly doable, but you're likely shortening the PSU life span (I can't help about how much, but your load power draw is high, and for a bronze-rated unit that would mean 30-40W of more wasted heat over a gold/platinum unit): however, that one could be a suitable fan.

I have been looking reviews regarding the Enermax Magma and it seems to get mixed reviews, but the ones I trust the most are really good! And they are a lot cheaper than other fans I've seen.
Will probably get one of those.

By the way, would you also recommend this fan as exhaust or intake case fan?

Broadly speaking no, it depends of the grille (just for example, their batwing profile didn't worked well, acoustically-wise, in one of my case, the Antec One Hundred), and the wire guard in your Seasonic PSU is usually much less restrictive than enclosure ones.

Among the relatively inexpensive fans (but that's location dependant) I recommend either the proven Scythe Slipstream and Nexus Basic, for any vertical mountings, or the Noise Blocker BlackSilent Pro for the most quiet environments and horizontal mounting.

I've news, I talked with the PSU seller and they will accept it as a RMA.
So, let's return to the main topic then, I can choose from here
    I narrowed it down to:
    -Be Quiet Pure Power L8 530W (79€) or 630W (94€)
    -Be Quiet Straight Power E9 500W (95€)
-Antec True Power Classic 550W (74€)
    -Antec Earthwatts Platinum 550W (91€) or 650W (94€)

I accept other suggestions as long as they are listed on the website.

Thank you a lot for your help!

The only (relatively) high quality PSU is the Antec True Power Classic 550W (it should be a slightly modified Seasonic S12G 550W).
The only really quiet PSU is the Be Quiet Straight Power E9 500W.

I gave a look at your reseller website: if you're willing to purchase a fixed cabling BeQuiet E9 500W for 96 euros, the Enermax Platimax 500W offers you a greater value for 10 euros more (as well as the SuperFlower Leadex Gold 650W for 13 euros more than the BeQuiet).
