Default Top quality 3300uF/16V D10 capacitors for ATX power supplies now available

I know this may be a little OT so I apologize in front and kindly ask JG to not delete this

But tomorrow or the day after, I am receiving (ahead of schedule) the new original and 100% genuine, custom-designed and manufactured Nippon Chemi-Con KZN 3300 uF/16 V D10×40 mm capacitors.

They may be the same (or totally different) than those custom "W" caps used by SuperFlower, you amy have seen them in JGs reviews, e. g. Rosewill Capstone 1000M.

So far only avaialble quality D10 3300uF/16V caps to repair/refurbish power supplies were Samxon RS (also distributed by me), now there are KZN caps, far better than anything else. Because of so low ESR I do not suggest them in aything else than high-power (500W+) or modern high-frequency PSUs as the rest may start oscillating with this stuff.

For mroe information refer to my sale thread.

Just wondering but are these the same thing as what you use in car audio just on a smaller scale? I had a 30 Farad/24V capacitor in my car with a 4 way distribution block built into it. You ran a 0 gauge wire from the car battery to the capacitor then 2 gauge wire from the distribution points to the amps. This allowed the amps to receive large bursts of power as needed without your headlights dimming and such. Are these like the same concept?? Quickly delivering large bursts of power when needed so as not to strain the source of the electricity?

Partially, however each VRM should have it's own bulk capacitance for that purpose. For example CPU VRM usually have 10-20 mF.

In PSU the capacitors are mainly used to smooth the power as being rectified AC, there is ripple. The point is to make it as close to smooth DC-line for example battery provides as possible. So far only quality capacitors avaialble in D10 and 16 V were 2200 uF or Samxons RS 3300 uF. Now there are also these unrivalled NCC KZN.
