    [btw this is not a slight on dell; i think they actually tried to resolve the issue and I use a dell at work and love their case design (not their flexibility with regards to expansion or form factor but rather the actual elegance of the design for component access); still I find the thread amusing.]

    system is up and running but cpu idle temp is high @ 50c with stock cooler; which normally suggest heat sink isn't seated correctly oh well will try try again. psu is very quiet.

    Well system is built and up-and running. Poor picture; cabling isn't that bad as there is free pocket under the 5 1/4 drive so when the psu is pushed in the psu's cable fall under the drive. Still not perfect; working on cpu temp issue.

    FYI: there is a 'bug' between intel i7/i5 4790k/???k in that they will run hot due to most (many? asus, gb, asrock, ...) mb not setting the voltage correctly.
