Last year I scored a mega deal on a Seasonic on Christmas day. It was a one-day sale.

In Jan 2013 I got my Panasonic DMC LX7 for a ridiculous price -- it had been in stock for over $400 and I got it for $240.

Bottom line: if you need a PSU now, than buy what you can find inexpensively. If you can afford to wait, wait until that fabulous deal comes along to buy your PSU. Or you can get a good deal on buying a PSU now, and wait for that great deal to buy your spare PSU.

Spare PSU? You can get a mouse, a KB, a display locally and cheaply. You can't say the same for a PSU.

Yea saw that pretty sucky huh? Only two deals I saw was the sesonic 660xp2 for $124 ($25 rebate) and the evga g2 for $70. Was very tempted to just go with the HCG-620M @ $40 which seems like a pretty decent deal on an ok psu but I guess I will go with the evga g2 for $70 (unless you think i should go with the antec or soemthing else)...

The Seasonic 660 XP2 went on sale this afternoon for $70 after rebate. Guess that is a better deal than the evga for $70...
