I love my Lian Li Rocketfish case, but I'm looking to downsize. Any suggestions for a mid tower with four 5.25" external bays and good airflow?

Fractal Design gets a lot of mention
Old school the Cooler Master 912/922 series is very good
Rosewill Blackhawk
lol tis budget, features, and looks that solve this quandary..

Ugh. Cases have gotten way too flashy. Might just stick with the Lian Li full tower, even if it is huge, just to keep it simple.

Lian Li builds some great and some ugly cases, that said if your old tower has sufficient cooling all is good.
The Fractal Design is the go to for quality plain cases, though details get some argument.
fwiw. I bought a Cooler Master 912 years ago on sale, it has been through a couple up builds and looks better (to me) every year. [I was afraid I would hate it] adding or changing fans is the hidden expense of new cases.

I use two of the 200mm blue LED fans, which are kind of subdued. The tray area on top and the top mounted switches and controls are good.
FWIW after buying replacement fans the 922 would have cost less.
This is philosophical more than input, I know.
NZXT Switch 810 was a go to for liquid cooling for a while

That NZXT is nice; I'll look into that. Not into LED fans, since the computer is in the bedroom.
Hey, Wicked! Long time, no see.

Swith 810 is nice but it's a full tower too.
Don't know your budget or if you have very long VGA cards but these two may do the job for you :

Corsair's leds can be turned off. And while I am not a fan of top front panels, this one has a lot of external bays :

I like that Corsair, and the fact that the LEDs can be turned off. I'll check it out, thanks!
