Default Aywun Silver Series A1-550S @ Hardware Insights

About the most pathetic excuse for an 80plus silver unit I've seen...
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards

    Overrated, totally overrated...

I don't understand why the chinese do such PSUs and why some people (especially system integrators) buy them...

Seriously? Or have you recently discovered the rhetorical question?

One of the first 230V 80PLUS units?

If they rate it as 500w, that's much better.

Yeah, I noticed that. The 80plus report even says that the rated input is 230V.

I totally agree on the rating. If Aywun had just knocked 50W off the rating, and added another PCI-E connector, it would have at least gotten a score above the half mark.

It features a 135mm Golf Surface ultra quiet fan, which allows it to run silently whilst still producing a stable and powerful airflow, this stops the power supply from over heating. The Aywun Silver 550w offers UVP/OVP/OPP/SCP/OCP/OTP Protection so you can be sure that it is going to function correctly and safely.

If you could be assured something would work properly and safely because of the mere presence of protection circuitry then no unit so designed would ever fail in testing or use............by the way shilling is frowned upon.
